伸展治療有助紓緩長期痛症 患者在教練的指導下,透過不同的伸展手法及方式,拉鬆受壓的肌肉 香港人長時期在寫字樓工作,或因長期坐姿不正確、書桌的高度不當等因素,往往會導致肌肉長期受壓,令肌肉失去彈性,造成勞損,引起肩頸痛、腰背痛等各種痛症,患者可能會選擇按摩或物理治療舒緩痛楚,但有體適能教練指出,坊間按摩通常集中舒緩表層肌肉,舒緩痛楚的效果短暫;加上部分患者在接受物理治療時,跟進次數所限,難以解決由深層肌肉組織引起的痛症問題,故建議患者可接受伸展治療,根治長期痛症。 運動治療中心總經理表示,伸展治療在外國是一種流行的運動治療方法,當中包括為專業運動員治療等。還立豐指,根據經驗所得,伸展治療與體適能結合能有效根治長期痛症。患者在接受治療前,首先進行肌肉肌耐力、柔軟度等的測試評估,了解患者傷患的一些基本狀況資料,及後再由考獲相關專業牌照的教練,為患者制定個人化體適能與伸展治療計劃。 患者在教練的指導下,依據所訂的計劃,透過不同的伸展手法及方式,對引起攣縮和限制關節活動度的軟組織施予外力,拉鬆受壓的肌肉,使肌肉逐步恢復正常的柔軟度及活動幅度,改善肌肉繃緊或疼痛等問題。教練亦同時按患者的需要再進行簡單的阻力訓練,「強化」周邊肌肉的力量,在配合改善不良身體姿勢下,把受壓而勞損的肌肉往周邊肌肉分散,避免症狀再次出現,達致根治痛楚的效果。已接受伸展治療約一年時間的家庭醫生鄺醫生表示, 4年前因工作長期姿勢不正確,經常會出現頭痛及頸痛,甚至在睡眠期間,「一星期有2至3天痛醒」,對個人的情緒造成一定影響。他以往亦曾嘗試接受物理治療,但對舒緩痛楚的效果並不明顯。及後鄺醫生接受伸展治療,每星期接受1小時由教練為他設計的治療計劃,加上糾正了過去不良的坐姿,4周後,痛症大大得到改善,心情及生活的質素同時有所改善。
